I've having trouble with this one. Actually I'm really only having trouble with killing Shrio. I can kill the Lynch and activate all the shrines but Shiro just takes us all down. Any advice or skills that you used to beat him? I'd really appreciate any tips or skills used. Thanks~

It's actually pretty easy... me and an ele henched through it and beat it second try no problem. I'll tell you right now diversion won't work, that was what screwed up attempt #1. Just read his skill descriptions and do what you gotta do.

Spoil victor works pretty well against his impossible odds, and get a necro with spiteful spirit to.
As soon as he fires off impossible odds it should be good night!! providing your close enough to everyone so they all get hit by IO

Bring necro with SS, Reckless Haste, Inisidious Parasite. Make sure you have blind. It will drop Shiro fast.

Thanks.. i tried a couple more times and failed.. I'll use the suggestions in a bit and try again but need a breather first.

I also was told they changed the mission. Someone said before Shiro and Lynch didn't follow you to the shrines.. but now they do. ><

shiro following doesnt matter much, his damage is minimal until he uses IO, and my group had trouble too until inspiration hit, we all ran like headless chickens in circles, shiro chased us, and casters and ranged people pounded him down while he chased our tank.

IO had little effect while shiro chased someone, so get him chasing and pound him.

Why does everyone have so much trouble now? On my first try I beat him easily and when he did that I think he hit me two times only and did 50 dmg tops.

I just failed it first time and am pissed off ><

Me, heros and henchies basically got 10% morale, killed everyone at shrines just running about, got all the blessings, killed lich easy..took shiro to 1/4, everyone starts dying one by one......Don't see how thats fair =[

This is probably one of the hardest missions in nightfall, I've played through the entire game with my female counterpart running to paragons and heros but this mission burned us pretty bad. Didn't even reach the lich or Shiro, then again we weren't really putting our best effort in, for this mission if you are inexperienced I'd try to get some humans otherwise you're going to be stuck for awhile.

Same here, I henched/hero'd through Nightfall and this just blew me out of the water. Granted, I figured Shiro needed to die first so I didn't pay any attention to the Lich, maybe that was my problem. Gonna try this tomorrow, I'm too pissed to do it anymore.

Just FYI, you can pull Shiro/Lich separately...not that it helped me, I'm still stuck. Spoil Victor doesn't do it for me so next time I'm trying SS/Reckless Haste hero (with Aegis of course >_>).

Side note: Blind was ineffective (I had a blinding surge ele) because when he uses IO, it's gone. And once I gave him deep wound with IO (I knew we were screwed anyways)... Heh.

I've tried everything. This is the hardest mission period in my opinion. I've been stuck here for two days. I've done every mission in both prophices and factions. They need to take out Impossible Odds. Yes I know it's not impossible as people have done it but it still seems very wrong to me. I'm seriously going to write a letter to ArenaNet. Sure they wont take just my opinion into account but I know some people already have and I have a feeling more are going to as well. I'm just dissapointed as all. It was an amazing game up untill this point.

Heck, I didnt even make it to Shiro on my first two attempts lol. I just got too much aggro on my team at the portals because my caster henchies like to run around and aggro up all the monsters in the area coming out of the portals.

Been stuck here for 2 days myself...dont feel too bad. I have gotten to Shiro and almost beat him several times...

Impossible Odds always kills the WHOLE GROUP when he is down to like 5% health...which is stupid...we had him beat...and this highly cheated skill kills us.

I dont know if they though it would be fun to have us play the same stupid, boring, long mission, over and over and over again...but it isnt fun to me.

Heck I'm having to force myself to even try it again...the rest of the mission is easy...closing the portals, the lich, the altars, then shiro isnt that bad util he is almost dead then BOOM death.

Geez I just cant quit laughing..10/10 for fun on this one...wow...my sides...

Just bring some hexes so he can't hit you (reckless haste, spirit of failure, price of failure etc) or some evasion stances, dont bring blind as that doesnt work.

If he can't hit you, he can't heal and he can't kill you.

Just an update on my situation... finally did it, but with a team of french people who didn't speak a word of english :E

Basically we pulled shiro first, and whole group stayed behind the gate entering the arena..sod the blessings, they are pointless!

So shiro keeps running up and down the stairs with the derv pulling him each time, throw on poison, necro degen, immolate, as many degen spells and we had to run around like headless chickens. The dervs were trying to tank, but died everytime so eventually they just stopped trying to hit shiro and joined us casters in running around.

Eventually we got it done by timing our degens together.
As always, the Lich went down no problem.
Still, what a horrible mission!

I took my first stab at this last night with henchies and the lovely new AI. Got crushed at the portals. Are there an infinite number of Titans that spawn in pairs until the portal is down?

I'm glad I did it when I did. He was so easy for me I don't know what was happening, but he only went after me. When he got down there I threw on Gladiator's Defense and he hit me once for 5 damage cause I had PS and that Shield of Abs on. Then I threw up Shield Stance and he hit me only once again for 50 or so dmg. We just killed him after that no problem. I was suprised I didn't get raped by it actually.

I've tried all the suggestions. Is it possible for a person or two to help with this mission. It's very frustrating as it hasn't happened to me before but I would be extremely greatfull.

My IGN is Roaring Nightwind and again I'd really appreciate it..
